Grand Affair Feat CLAPTONE [COMP CLOSED]

Following an incredible season, Grand Africa Café & Beach, in the V&A Waterfront, will host a stylish end of summer party on 22 April 2017. Grand Affair Featuring Claptone brings you its second edition of this beach event, featuring renowned international DJ and musical genius, Claptone, He will be supported by a talented local line up to make this a sensational Saturday beach party in the city. Claptone, hidden by a gold-beaked mask and top hat, is the mysterious deep house DJ and producer who has soared to success. Since 2012, the rise of Claptone has been both consistent and innovative – putting out successful, original records such as, No Eyes, Cream, Puppet Theatre, Wrong, Heartbeat and Dear Life as well as remixes for New Order, Bastille, Gregory Porter, Pet Shop Boys, Faithless, Metronomy, Hurts, Roisin Murphy, Disclosure & more. On top of that, Claptone is constantly DJ’ing and playing live shows around the globe. While continuously delivering some of the most loved songs, he restlessly covers every corner of the planet with up to 20 DJ shows every month.

Honoured with DJ Awards as ‘Best Producer’ and “Best House DJ”; one of the top selling artists in the Beatport – Deep House genre and Mixmag’s “Star of the Year” status. In 2016, Claptone brought his new Immortal Live show to festivals such as Coachella and launched his own party-series, titled ‘The Masquerade‘. Fans show up to gigs with their own golden Claptone masks and lose themselves in the music, while taking part in the fantasy of anonymity. A strong lineup of supporting local DJs is planned for Grand Affair Summer Closing, who he takes place from 12pm to 10pm.
