Get ready for the 7th edition of GoldFish Submerged Sundays, Cape Town’s biggest summer residency at the sexy Shimmy Beach Club! Back from their 2018 tour of the globe, SA’s favourite duo return to the surf of the Atlantic ocean with their sound perfectly fitted to the celebration of summer.
Before changing the EDM game in South Africa as GoldFish, Dominic Peters and David Poole were mild-mannered students by day that blew the roof off house parties by night. Their dynamite live performances, mixing driving house beats with jazz instrumental interludes, earned the attention of a swelling house and electronic music fan base. With residencies in ibiza and a constant touring schedule their fame grew, and so did their scope – scouring obscure sources for unique and cheeky samples which they twisted into endlessly fun hooks and choruses. Stirring African rhythms and melodies into the mix helped Goldfish evolve a uniquely South African house sound. Their burnished grooves and a consistent string of chart-topping hits has helped Goldfish become one of the most influential live electronic groups in Dance music.

Parking Details
The closest parking lot to Shimmy Beach Club is at The Clock Tower, V&A Waterfront, with Shimmy shuttles running frequently between there and the venue. It is however encouraged that partygoers make use of UBER’s private drivers.
