But I am here for something totally different, and just as inviting. What sounds better than kicking off your weekend with a Potjie Pot, Standard Craft Lager or Glass of wine for just R80? Not much. Basically they offer a different style Potjie Pot with a craft beer or glass of wine every Friday from 12 noon until 15h30pm, served up straight from the fireplace by head chef, Wes Rob.
This Friday 17 August 2016 is an is Oxtail Potjie. Braised in red wine and milk stout with mushrooms and baby onions. Served with pickled carrots, baby marrow and cocktail onions. Your choice of pap, rice or rooster koek as a side!
