Curry & Craft was started by two people with a healthy obsession for both great curry, and delicious beer. After sampling almost every Indian restaurant in Cape Town, they decided to create a space that filled the gap between fine-dining Indian restaurants and cafeteria style establishments.
Ask any home where good curry is made and they’ll tell you that Indian food is about celebration, family, bringing people together, and having fun with it. Actually; that’s also exactly what beerhouses are about – and so Curry & Craft came about. Cape Town needed a place where people can come to enjoy tasty, unpretentious Indian curries, well-brewed local craft beers and the casual, welcoming atmosphere that should always be the setting of good food and drink.
