White Collar Kiss – Album Launch @ The Assembly!

Basically, White Collar Kiss has been growing exponentially over the past 8 months, and, in my opinion are taking the shape of some of South Africa's most successful live acts! I saw the likes of Goldfish rise to the top, back when a mere 20 people used to come watch their sets at Baraza, currently known as Sapphire. I am not saying White Collar Kiss is the next Goldfish, but these kids sure as hell have loads of talent!

For those of you who know me personally, you will know that I usually have trance, reggae, hip-hop, electro or the occasional dubstep playing on my iPod. However, I have recently been trying to broaden my horizons with regard to the music scene and bumped into my mate Tammy, who informed me about this relatively new group. I must say, it is actually very, very decent! The song that caught my attention was their first single, called Six Feet Under. I won’t lie, the beat and vocals weren’t the only thing that caught my attention though, as the lead singer kind of stole that show đŸ˜‰ Pity she is engaged, lucky man!

They will be accompanied by The Arrows, who are definitely a top of mind brand name when it comes to the local music scene.

White Collar Kiss Album Launch - 8th December 2010 @ The Assembly

The band have played along side some of South Africa’s finest acts, such as Foto Na Dans and The Dirty Skirts. They have been featured as headlining acts at large events such as the UCT orientation week, on the Coca Cola main stage, as well as performing at The Dirty Kiss concert. In this time the band have also shot and released their debut music video which has since been on high rotation on tv channel MK 89. White Collar Kiss was also featured on the e.TV Showbiz Report, which shows just how serious this talented bunch really are about their music.

The band is fast becoming a hit in the SA music scene.

Their highly anticipated debut album, Fluorescent, will be launched on the 8th December at none other than The Assembly! All the while, their very own Bethany Dickson (lead vocals) has been a phenomenal success in the musical theatre world. She has recently returned from touring internationally, after playing the lead role ‘Sandra-Dee‘ in Grease the musical đŸ™‚ Impressive to say the least! Tickets are available from www.webtickets.co.za @ R50, or, alternatively you can just pay R60 at the door if you decide to rock up on the night.

Look at the size of the crowd they played to at UCT...Even my mate DJ Humerous would be jealous of this crowd!

I will be there with some of my brasse to witness the fitness, grab an interview with the band and get some reviews from other fans who can actually still communicate! If you are feeling lonely and have no one to go with, please feel free to come join me and my mates, trust me you will not have a boring evening đŸ˜‰ I am definitely going to try get my hands on those tattoo vouchers, it is about time I added some more ink to the canvas!

Give-aways and throw out’s for the crowd include:

Ed Hardy Energy Drinks
White Collar Kiss Caps
Tattoo Vouchers
