My buddy and top photographer @TheLawry captured a superb time lapse of the recent Lions Head fire in Cape Town this week! It’s caught from our home town, Camps Bay and shows the different stages of the burn from 19h00 – 00h15. Have a watch, it’s pretty quick and won’t slew too much of your precious data, if you’re not on wireless!
On a more serious note, please refrain from throwing your cigarettes or zol out the window this Summer. The mountains are extremely dry, and the fire fighters have a load on their hands already! Another thing, if you’re hiking our trails this season, please take your glass bottles, stompies and other rubbish back down with you. I’m all for having a bottle of wine or some beers on the top, but please take into account Mother Nature and refrain from being that doos! AWEH!
