LOVE & LIGHT DAY PARTY! 2015 is getting into the swing of things and we’re kicking off it off in style at Love and Light’s second home – Nelson Wine Estate in Paarl. We have organised a line up of the absolute finest in international and local progressive psy-trance DJ’s, including Ace Ventura, Zyce, Emok and Critical Choice, this instalment of Love & Light promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Doors open at 10am on Saturday with festivities beginning at 11am; pull in, take in the beautiful mountain views, grab an ice cold drink from our fully licenced bars or a bite to eat from one of the gourmet food stalls.
This gives you more than 12 hours of mind-blowing electronic music at one of the most breath-taking venues in the cape. This is strictly a mature party environment. There will be no under 23 for guys & no under 21 for girls.

Directions to Nelson’s from Cape Town
Take the N1 out of Cape Town towards Paarl. Take the R44 Klapmuts/Wellington turnoff on your left and turn left towards Wellington at the stop. Continue on the R44 towards Wellington for approximately 18 km. The road will later change from a single to double lane. From there we are approximately 2.5 km onwards on your left hand side. If you reach a 4-way stop, you’ve gone too far.
From Worcester
Take the N1 out of Worcester towards Paarl. Go through the tunnel and keep going straight, past Paarl. Take the R44 turnoff on your left and turn right towards Wellington. Continue on the R44 towards Wellington for approximately 18 km. The road will later change from a single lane to double road. From there we are approximately 2.5 km on your left hand side. If you reach a 4-way stop, you’ve gone too far.
Bus
For those who don’t wish to drive, there will be a return bus to take festival-goers there and back safely. The bus will be departing from the parking lot opposite Giovannis (P13) on Sommerset Rd, Green Point at 10am sharp and will be returning to the same place after the party. Return bus tickets are on sale on Nutickets for R100.
Accommodation
A country lodge with twelve double rooms in a style reminiscent of old horse stables is available for the Estate’s guests at very reasonable rates. Enjoy lavish sunsets and walks through the vineyards at daybreak, go for a morning swim in the crystal clear pool overlooking the Chardonnay vineyard or simply enjoy a cup of rich coffee on the patio while taking in the sights and sounds of the Cape Winelands the way it was meant to be experienced.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – No Alcohol ruling!
Please note that due to the Western Province Liquor Authority, no alcohol is allowed at this event. (We are referring to alcohol been carried in cooler boxes by ticket holders). The rules may not apply for other festivals that have “camping” but not for One Day Festivals that do not have camping facilities. Guests can still bring cooler boxes with food and soft drinks but no decanted alcohol allowed. We will ensure that there is adequate drinking water and we will also make sure that bottled water is sold at a very reasonable price. The authorities are rightly enforcing the laws of Outdoor Festivals and it is important that we comply with the rules!
