Spur Burger Rolls – Why Are They Always Stale?

So next Monday I will be going back to the old faithful Sea Point Spur, even if the rolls there are stale too, atleast my burger patty's wont be burnt!

I have a taste...for FRESH rolls

Every Monday I go to Spur for the 2 for 1 burger special. This Monday, as usual, my mates Mark, Ricky and I went to the Spur in Town. I usually join the rest of the Kibbutz Community at Arthur’s Seat Spur in Sea Point but was on the way back from golf and a bit pressed for time.

Looks great...Until you feel that it's harder than a rock!

Without fail I always order the rib burger because 1) I love Ribs ans 2) you get 2 x 100g patty’s, therefore I can buy an extra roll for R3 and actually get 4 burgers out of the deal 😉 I’m having a rant at this place because both patty’s were burnt and as usual the rolls were stale. You don’t really notice it when it’s covering a juicy spur burger, but when it’s on it’s own as a sideline it is hard to miss.

It wasn't as bad as this, but that's why i need an iPhone to take pics in the moment 🙁

So next Monday I will be going back to the old faithful Sea Point Spur, even if the rolls there are stale too, atleast my burger patty’s wont be burnt! One thing I can’t get enough of is the Spur white sauce, what the fuck do they put in that stuff, it’s more addictive than entjies!

Jizz in your pants sauce...
