Basilico Restaurant Located in the heart of Newlands, in Cape Town with magnificent views of Table Mountain, Basilico serves fine Italian food in a relaxed and comfortable setting. They pride themselves on their pastas and salads and their particularly delicious wood-fired pizzas. They also have another branch in Steenberg, for those of you from the deep South.
When it comes to pizza, it has to be wood-fired. That’s a non-negotiable for me. Basilico is without a doubt in my Top 3 pizzas in Cape Town. If you don’t believe me, go try their lunch special for yourself! Yip, they have an epic lunch special running at both branches, which you can read more about below!
Basilico Lunch Special
Pick from their lunch specials menu with meals from R75 – R95 which includes selected pizzas, pastas, grills and salads. I would highly recommend their pizzas, or the chicken and mushroom cream based pasta. Although, their salads are great if that’s your vibe and as for the grills, you have a choice of schnitzel or fillet steak medallions!
