I really love the Liqui Fruit brand and especially their latest television advert with that brunette bombshell Nicole Meyer. But this time the smaller player in the social media scene, another well known South African brand has taken a cheeky approach to the Liqui Fruit “Blackberry” campaign. Basically Liqui Fruit rolled out a limited edition Blackberry flavour, playing on the cell phone brand and you could stand the chance to win 3 BB handsets! Check out the product shot below:
I just got sent a press pack with a very cheeky, but pretty damn good responce to the above campaign. Ceres Fruit Juice brand have now launched a Think Different. Drink Different campaign with their latest Limited Edition, Ceres Apple. Yes they went and got Blackberry’s biggest competitior in the smart phone category and pinned them directly up against the social media big guns Liqui Fruit. I must be honest, I thought this was pretty awesome! Oh and they went one step further by launching an online game on their Facebook Page, in which you have to pick the cheeky Blackberries that have infiltrated the Ceres Valley. Not to mention the fact that you can win one of 7 iPhone 5 handsets while you are at it. Marvelous!
The Ceres Limited Edition 200ml Apple packs are available from March at all participating petrol station forecourts and Fruit and Veg City’s. The game consists of the Ceres Limited Edition Apple clearing the valley of all the sneaky blackberry’s by shooting apples at their competitor.
