Tevez £40 Million Corinthians Move Falls Through!

Argentina and Man City striker Carlos Tevez is left biting his nails at home while he waits on news of his future. The fact that his club are preparing a bid for his fellow Argentinian striker won't go down to well either after being dumped out of the Copa America prematurely!

Manchester City and Argentina striker Carlos Tevez has been hit by news that his proposed moved to Corinthians has fallen through! Corinthians broke the South American transfer record back in 2005 to land the feisty Argentinian from his boyhood club Boca Juniors, for a whopping £13.7 million!!! Tevez then moved on to West Ham United, after which he enjoyed 2 very successful years at Manchester United. Tevez then did the unimaginable by joining the noisy neighbours Man City, on the blue side of Manchester. In doing this he became the first player to move between the clubs since Terry Cooke in 1999. All I have to say about that is; Traitor!

Corinthians Officials: “We are aware of the dream our fans had of having this player at Corinthians again and we look forward to him being with us in the near future.”

The nuggety Argentinian shows real signs of a top, top player. But then again is he worth the headache?

Tevez now waits to hear what’s next for his personal career, as he sits in Argentina after his side were dumped out of the Copa America last week. The word on the street is that fellow countryman, and boyfriend of Maradona’s daughter, Sergio Aguero may be on his way to City if they can meet the demands of his Spanish side Atletico Madrid! There is no doubt that Carlos Tevez is a top talent, but he is Argentinian and shows  loyalty whatsoever towards the clubs that have helped him propel his talents on the biggest stage. In saying that, I am glad Sir Alex never forked out the £25 million that was being demanded to make his 2 year loan deal permanent! Read more about the Sergio Aguero saga here!
