Sick CiVViO Hemp Tees [comp closed]

When I got a mail from the CiVViO brand I was expecting something about their new watches being launched. Much to my delight it had nothing to do with their watch line, but more so their brand new line of designer HEMP t-shirts! They come in 4 rad designs and are made of 55% hemp, 45% organic materials. No. You cannot smoke the shirts people! Many people have a negative connotation about HEMP products because of it’s association to Marijuana. The plant can actually help our economy in many major ways, check out the Hemporium SA video below for a bit of education:

You can get your hands on the new range of tee’s from Due South @DueSouthSA and they retail for R299. I have been thinking of how to run the competition, and, I think I have come up with a cool idea. First though you have to Like and Follow CiVViO on Twitter and Facebook. They not only make these sick hemp tee’s, but also have a rad range of sports watches. Word on the street is that they are launching a new one in April and I will try get some to give away to you guys and dolls. Check out the 4 designs available below:

I like that first design [black one] 🙂

the way i would use hemp to change the world is to use hemp oil to create biofuels to replace gasoline for diesel engines… plus its renewable 🙂

    Ultimate Hemp (nr1)
Providing homeless people with durable Clothing & blankets

I love the Red Skull Design one 🙂

If it were only that simple.
Firstly i would educate the masses with the benefits of using hemp to produce clothing and other products in order to show the populace its benefits and to eradicate the negative connotations attached to “hemp”. This can be done by hosting events and visiting the community.

Secondly I would get investors to aid in the process of using hemp more publicly to create clothing that is more durable and comfortable than cotton this would create jobs for many and help us use our resources in a more effective manner.

    🙂

The green t 🙂 I would invest in Hemp harvesting for 2 reasons. One is to create jobs in the farming community. And second in the textile industry. Cotton has a very large economical footprint, thus commercial farming with hemp for textile is better for the environment. Hemp doesn’t use as much water, and also needs no pesticides. I gives bigger return on usable textile. Makes environmental sense.

what a sick video, so educational, Really didn’t know hemp could provide so much! i would use it to create employment in SA- we definitely need job creation, so why not use it not only to create employment but to help improve South Africa’s textile community.

i dig the black shirt,im a black shirt kinda guy so this would be awesome

don’t have twitter but will share etc via FB

    I like the black-T.

Seeing that hemp is enviromental friendly and cheaper to use I would use it in more then one way.

I would use to make clothes, rope, bags ,accesoriesfabric, etc. its cheaper to use in production and chemical free.

I would use it to produce paper/books this will help stop the destroying of forests, and mayb help make the price of paper and books cheaper.

Make hemp oil more available, this may lead to people stop using fish oil, preventing over fishing.

I will use it to make plastic this will less harmful to environment as its not made with toxic chemicals .

I totally LOVE the green shirt, totally HEMP man!

I would create awesome jewelery and accessories and handbags with hemp- this will not only create employment but change the way SA and the rest of the world views reusable and sustainable manufacture <3
