Manchester United TOUR 2012 Captain Rio Ferdinand last night uploaded a Tweet about chilling with his Zulu mate before they were going to hunt a Lion… This was just a joke with Rio holding his shield and spear, although some South African’s didn’t take so lightly to the saga! I suppose it does give a bit of a bad reflection to those on his timeline as that’s not really what we do in SA, and, maybe not all of his 3,000,000 + Followers understand his humour like I do!

For those of you cooking out it was just a joke, as he was actually quite taken back by the size, power and strength of the creature, so he Tweeted it because he knows it is the most fierce creature in our wild! Never the less I hope I meet the United number 5 at the Manchester United press conference, signing session, dinner and open training session today… If I manage to get a picture with him I will be sure to add a little fun to my Tweet too 😉 Don’t you worry!

People need to understand how Rio thinks and what he does and I also clearly saw this as a joke.
I mean him next to a Zulu and saying he was going to kill a Lion and Wildebeest, just tried to make him feel part of the Zulu culture as that is what they did back in the days to say that they are men . If you know what I mean. (I might be totally wrong but that is how I saw the whole thing)
