I won’t lie, I am pretty jealous I haven’t yet checked out the new fresh, artisanal and food goods market at the V&A Waterfront Market On Wharf. The market is situated where the old Planet Hollywood or Musica was, near the Two Oceans Aquarium. They have been open for a few weeks, but their official launch, where you can win some flippin rad stuff is this Saturday, 23 March 2013. Call the past few weeks their ironing out and testing phase if you will. Like all of the best things these days, they are driving the market and information about their offering via social media channels. That’s already a thumbs up from me!
I will be pulling in to the market on Saturday to grab some chow and craft beer, as they have their own craft bar upstairs with some goodness to attract the men! Let’s be honest here, no guy likes walking around a market getting cuttlery and shit with their chick without a quality beer in hand. I am hoping they stock my new favourite in the craft sector Brewdog. If you haven’t tried it, well you can’t really say you are a craft beer junkie!
