Awe Dyl, I hope you have recovered from equinox okay ? monster season up ahead but I heard Dean through a rocker, nice to know someone passionate about music is actually making it happen for the outdoor stompers and not coming up with crappy venues etc just for the sake of throwing a party. Good on you Dean!
I’m sure the bar shifts have been pretty deadly too, they seem to last forever those graveyard shifts but well worth it in the end even though, you land up being totally burnt out for the day dance floor though! I have had a couple of great weekends past and Moksha turned out to be the best set-ups I have seen at an outdoor trance party in Josi for a long time. Hardcore beats, but wow the decor was amazing!
Mr Cape Town: Awe Rosso, yeah the recovery is in full swing been sweating the death out in gym over the past few days. Sunday and Monday were a different story though 😉 The music was sick on Sunday but Saturday was a bit of a let down for me with regard to the music and the extremely low BPM. You know me I like the death beats at night and the driving tunes during the day…As for the bar I worked the 3pm Sat – 3am Sun shift and walked away meeting a few belters, picking up some tips and banging some free shots, so I was not complaining 😉 All in all extremely well run and I must also say a big up to Dean for an outdoor event that was superbly organised and run.
P.S It is good to know you can also shake a leg now and then with those straightened hair okes, with their Ed Hardy Swarofsky Crystal tops, hippy style scalves and rushmee glasses! Bloody muppet’s. LOL
Round 4:
Over the last weekend or so I came up with a few quick ‘n easy concoctions that will get you and a small team going before the big match! One of them turned out to be the “B3 Bomber”, not too sure how the name came about, but it had something to do with 3 of us/3 shots and a red bull shot/bomber! It’s a warmer of note I tell you, a couple of these before hitting the town and your ready.
The B3 Bomber:
Mix into a rocks glass with either cubes or crushed ice, and split the Red Bull shot between 3 glasses.
50ml brandy/bourbon ( get the best bottle your budget can afford )
25ml amaretto
Squeeze 1 large lime wedge for juice and discard skin
Top with the red bull bomber
Garnish with a fresh orange twist – remember to spray the oils from the orange over the top of the drink before slotting it down the side of the glass.
If you can’t remember what happened the night before you had too many !
oh man Dyl where the hell did you get that photo ? its a killer !
shot bro, keepin it real ekse
I found it on your Facebook…hahaha one too many boyo 😉
