Dissapointing end to a gret tournament.
Dusting Johnson didn’t realise he was in a bunker when he hit his second shot on the 72nd hole this Sunday. Because Rules Officials determined he was, his bid for a first major trophy ended with a two-shot penalty. In my opinion it did not at all look like a bunker, more like a patch of sand amongst dry grass in the rough? But hey who am I compared to these golf pro’s.
Dustin handled the interview with class though. He mentioned that he should have read the local rule more closely, but could also have called the rules official that was walking with the group before playing.
