I got home from our weekly corporate football match earlier tonight, only to be extremely upset at the news that Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has sacked manager, Chris Hughton 🙁 How on earth do you justify sacking a manager that won the Championship last season with Newcastle and is currently lying 11th on the table in the English top flight? The truth is you can’t. I have never been a fan of that fat pig that owns the club, Mike Ashley, and, I hope his side get relegated because of the disrespect he has show Chris, the players and the fans!
He knew he would be doomed sooner or later...According to his fellow peers!
The Magpies only got relegated 2 years ago and manager Chris Hughton got them back up instantly, winning the league with like 6 games to go! How in their right minds they decided that they now need a more experienced manager is beside me. The guy got you back to the Premier League, at least repay him with the chance to test his wits against some of the best managers on the planet! It is a pity that you no longer see managers spending long spells at top clubs, which gives them the chance to start their own legacy and built their own group of players. Look at Sir Alex, Wenger & Moyes for instance. United, Arsenal and Everton alike have shown that keeping faith in your manager can bring you huge rewards! Everton might not be challenging for silverware, but Moyes gets a hell of a response week in, week out from his group of players.

Do you think managers should be given a better chance to prove their worth, or do you agree that if the owners aren’t happy then it is fine to move onto the next character. It is said Newcastle are looking for someone with more experience in the top flight and are searching for Hughton’s replacement already! Newcastle legend Peter Beardsley has taken over as a temporary replacement and rumour has it that ex Spurs boss Martin Jol is tipped for the hot seat at the Toon! Good luck to him, with that fat pig Mike Ashley in charge!
