Manchester United and Manchester City target Eden Hazard has chosen Champions League winners Chelsea over both Manchester clubs. There is not much information out there regarding the transfer fee, although I am sure it is somewhere in surplus of 30 million pounds! The 21 year old is one of the hottest properties in Europe and is said to be on a pay check of 150 000 pounds a week… Although many said he may have moved for money, he did state that the amount of football he is given the chance to play will heavily influence his decision.
As a United fan myself, this is pretty bleak news but I look forward to watching the lad ply his trade in the English Premier League next season regardless. What are your thoughts on the players move? He was given permission by Chelsea to break the news over Twitter as long as he didn’t give any interviews to any sources!
Top signing there and a class player! Come on you blues!
I agree… Pity we missed out on him!
i agree, top top player this. So young too. But I am rather surprised by this move. The signing of players without a permanent manager. In my opinion to form a football club should be to the manager what creating a masterpiece is to an artist.
In this case I see the art enthusiast (Chelsea owner) buying art materials to be used by an artist who’s not there yet. Now the artist will be forced to abandon whatever project he had in mind and work with what he’s been given.
Picture a painter finding himself having to create wire art just because his commissioner feels like that sort of art. Remember the buying of Torres, the young Beast Lukaku both of whom AVB struggled to fit into his plan?
Will the in coming manager at chelsea be able to put all of these majestic ego together and form a working unit, one complete picture? Anyway I hope football wins in the end…
anyway, just my two cents…
