Does the appeal of winning the World Cup with Spain strengthen the grasp of Spanish football for World Cup Champion, Cesc Fabregas? The Spanish side consists of no less than 7 current Barcelona stars, who have all surely expressed their desire for young Cesc to join them at The Camp Nou.
Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina, along with Barcelona defenders Pique and Puyol held the helpless Cesc down whilst forcing a Barcelona kit onto the young Arsenal Captain. Cesc with a huge smile on his face, appeared to be locked into this Barca straight jacket whilst hiding his face from the reporters camera’s. Im pretty sure Arsene Wenger was not very impressed with Puyol, Pique and Reina! Reina continued by shouting to the Spanish supporters, asking whether this is what they wanted to see in the future? The reply was a no brain-er as the cheers continued into the night with the Spain Players thanking the supporters each with a personal message.
Congratulations must go out to the Spanish side, as not only is it the first time they have won the World Cup, but they are also the only team to win it after loosing their first group game. Reports in Spain suggest Fernando Torres, Pepe Reina and Sergio Ramos were the backbone of the party 😉
