Seeing as though it is winter I haven’t been down to the beach in a while. I have seen the photo uploads coming through on Facebook and it seem the okes are hitting a new level.
Using the wake skating winch!
They have even been using a Wake skating winch to help them reach high speeds to propel them faster and further into the surf!
I see Guthrie Fraser has even got a new glass board, which he improted from Portugal. Even muppets like Lance Connolly, who was streaks behind in skill level back when I did my first article, seems like he is pretty decent now days. They even venture up the West Coast to special skimming spots and I see there is a Competition in Durban happening next month sponsored by Kauai and other quite big brands!

I’m going to find out when they are going down for a skim again and try get some clips so you guys can get a bit of a better feel about the sport and just how good these guys are getting.
You need to seriously write some more about this.
