I just got shown this event by one of my readers. How in God’s name have I not heard anything about it??? This is basically the Camel Experience, but for cool, raucous people that enjoy a thick jol along the way! I am not going to say too much about it, except that it would be one hell of an event to partake in, and, more importantly document for the rest of you to experience with us! I won’t be wearing khaki gear, we will most likely be barefoot, hungover and definitely up for another ice cold bottle of tequila at the next checkpoint!

If there are any companies out there that would like to sponsor potentially the best crew at the event, please do not hesitate to comment below or contact me on dylan2580@gmail.com! We will need petrol money, a sick ass vehicle (anything from a Rikkis Taxi to a Jeep), the entry fee and brands that are willing to go the full nine yards. I am thinking we document the whole thing and create the best experiential video you have ever seen 😉
A large portion of the competition money will be going to Bobs For Good, an initiative aiming to provide shoes to kids all over Africa – read more here [Bobs For Good]. As far as I know it is Bob Skinstad’s charity, not 100% sure though. Any extra funds we do raise ourselves (if any at all) we would like to donate to Natalie, an 11 year old Capetonian girl with an extremely rare case of cancer! She is battling a serious illness and we would love to help her get back to her lively self 🙁 Read her story here [Natalie’s Circle Of Love].
LETS DO THIS BOYO!!!! 😀
Getting a list of emails together tomorrow! Would love to do it in a @RikkisTaxis though with the @MyCityByNight boys maybe? Imagine going through Southern Africa in a Rikki, now that would be world class. Brand the thing fu*ked up and let @BarryHayman show them how to drive that thing 😉
