Joburg business tycoon Kenny Kunene will be in Cape Town quite regularly, in the build up to the opening of his new exotic millionaires club in Cape Town. This new venture will find it’s home at none other than the ever popular Cape Royale Hotel in Green Point, situated across the road from the world famous @CapeTownStadium.
With all the prissy bastards around Cape Town I am sure the guy will make a killing. Although he does promise to splash quite large sums of cash around on their opening night, which falls on Valentines Day, 14 February 2011…If you are a hot, single, gold digging female I am sure you will find what you have been searching for at this over the top event. I mean who isn’t looking for some action on Valentines? Kunene, who spent over R700 000 on his birthday party last year, serving sushi off naked ladies to guests, swears that his investment is a lot more than that measly figure ;P It has also been said that old Prince William will be an honoured guest at the launch!
Famous celebs, top models, premium brands, hot tunes, extravagant interiors, exclusive events and a rad ass venue make this new club something quite appealing to the upper income, affluent consumer! I am sure good service, air conditioners, ampule bartenders and excellent management will be one of the key issues they address before opening 😉 They are definitely trying to attract an older, more sophisticated market, which will without a doubt take business away from surrounding clubs like Jade Bar, Fez, St Yves and Trinity!
Here are some thing Kenny himself had to say about the launch event. I must say it could be damn sick from the sound of things. I think I need to get myself on that list! Let’s just hope no one shits on the couches this time around! HAHA
Yeah! Gonna find me a ssugar Daddy!
haha unless you end up as one of the models getting served sushi off 😉
Good concept. But not for Cape Town. I am interested to see what happens. But at R200 a head to get inside to what’s basically a fancy bar!
Anyway good luck. Let’s see how it goes. Any idea how much he spent on venue. Or any worthwhile info sound; dj’s; lighting; concept – other than the posers that going to be there!
Barry, definitely a posers venue which will surely attract those Cape Town posers which we hate so much 😉 Pretty sure the dj’s will be overpriced commercials, spend was probably retarded and the drinks are radiculously expensive (or free if you have tits)
The place won’t be around too long, but the fact that the black diamonds are on board could be quite interesting to see what happens and what brands are the best sellers. From my time behind the bar it’s most likely going to be Chivas, Hunters, Moet, Mumm or Johnny Black 😉

Can’t wait…..
Well when can we do a write up for you in return for a few free rides maybe? We love a good few dozen drinks and are always looking for partners to get us to our destinations safe and sound. Unless Amelia Spencer is in the taxi behind you!
Bro you are white. You not ANC, so you have no chance of getting on that list! 😀 HAHAHAHA!
Besides, I am surprised that The Royale of all places have associated themselves with this guy!
Dodge-ville!
Yeah haha. Don’t think I would have fitted in anyway with my shorts, Nikes and t-shirt 😉 The sushi platters ended me tho! “Serving sushi on womens bodies is anti-ANC and anti-revolutionary.” HAHAHA yes indeed it is. But it is also just an abnormal, unethical thing to do. Think about humans lying around in lingerie with huge tree leaves placed on their subtle, brittle bodies to serve sushi off to contraversial millionaire’s! LOL
What has this place actually got to offer – except a Joburg concept in the Mother City? We have seen those ideas crash and burn before.
Leave it for Malema.
I don’t see how it going to steal any business from Cape Towns clubs – when just seems to be an over priced bar.
The only reason I wrote about this was for the models with sushi platters on them. Which ended up being the main highlight after all…They said serving sushi on women was anti-ANC and anti-revolutionary…
Not a place I would go to often, or probably ever just thought the name, the food platters and the amount of bucks being thrown around on Champers might appeal to my female readers. But you are right I do need to STILL come to Trinity, may come tonight but still got a bombed lip from Origin!
