Café Caprice Annual Volleyball Tournament

I was delighted with the warm welcome and great customer service I experienced on the day.

Serving it up...

I woke up to a cloudy, overcast setting in Camps Bay on the day of Groovy Troopers (outdoor trance party), to be honest a bit saddened with the outcome of the weather gods. I decided to head down to the beach and watch some volleyball and have a glimpse at some of the squeezers who were taking part. After about 30 minutes the sun came out which set the scene for a great day in the sun!

Upon arrival I saw a few familiar faces and watched a few games, chatting to some of the Caprice staff who know me pretty well from my time spend at the famous watering hole over the past 7-8 years. Now what really pleased me and the sole reason i am writing this article was the quality customer service that i experienced over the 2 hours that i spent there 🙂 First of all plates of mouthwatering mini burgers were getting brought onto the beach by the waitresses and weren’t only for the players but as they said it ‘friends of Caprice’ as well.

So as any hungry, hungover human would do I helped myself to a couple and they were just what the doctor ordered. In saying that, I went to say hi to Mj and Bernard the barmen for the day who I know quite well and they offered me a Red Bull, a slush or a watermelon/sweet melon cocktail! After having a few more burgers and a good couple Red Bulls and cocktails (which were great I must add), I recognised that free massages were being given to anyone in the demarcated tent area, for FREE!

Now having studied marketing myself, specialising in Brand Management at the AAA School of Advertising this was one of the best days I have had on the beach for a good while and a shout out must go to David Raad, the Caprice team for their excellent hospitality on the day, along with sponsors Havianas, Red Bull, Havanna Club and Sunglass Hut. A mention and a big well done to Brandnew Marketing who ran an extremely successful event, although I have never heard of them they did themselves no harm in the brand awareness department and I will be looking out for future projects to come from this new markeing initiative.

In closing I just had to RAVE about this event as I was delighted with the warm welcome and great customer service I experienced on the day. Looking forward to next year and it just goes to show how Café Cprice appreciate the loyalty of their valued clients!

Café Caprice earned themselves a 5 out of 5 for brilliant Customer Service.

🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 RAVE
