Each year, Alcazar draws inspiration from one of the grand palaces of the world to create an astonishing 3 story high art piece, combining unique stage architecture, 3D projection mapping and a whirl of dancers, gymnasts and performance artists to create a unique, large scale piece of living art!
Prepare to be transported to the magical realm of Alcazar’s 2023 theme, ‘Faeirie Tale,’ where playful sophistication meets the magic of grand artistic ambition. “My fairy lord, this must be done with haste, For night’s swift dragons cut the clouds full fast.” – Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream Headlining this year’s stage are the globally renowned Catz ‘n Dogz (POL), Madmotormiquel (GER), and Mimi Love (GER), each bringing their unique, world-class beats to the heart of Cape Town.
Complementing these icons, South Africa’s shining stars like the dynamic Bantwanas, the ever-eclectic Abby Nurock, and the techno maestro Bruno Morphet, among many others, promise to keep the rhythms pulsing and the spirits high.
