The Camps Bay skimmers are back and this time we don’t only have pictures for you. Thanks to my mate and proper beast skimmer Luke Godfrey, we have some design talents that have been put to use! He uploaded this clip to YouTube in an attempt to create awareness awehness about this sick new sport. My other brasse Tristan Beebe and Guthrie Fraser (I don’t know why he changed his name to Frase) also star in the little movie. These okes have really come a long way since I last interviewed them about the Gnarley sport!

The camera they are using is a GoPro which Luke got from got his hands on in America. Apparently they are available here too and if that is true I am definitely going to get my hands on one! Watch this space for a new post on the GoPro, I think it deserves it’s entire own review! Not only does it shoot in HD, but it is a fish eye, extremely small, attaches perfectly on your board and offers something a little different for the viewer! Awesome.
