So it started at 11 o’ clock on Saturday at the biscuit mill with my mates. One drink turned into 7 drinks and then it was the beginning of the end. Finally left the Mill at 3pm, went home and picked up my bag and went to my mates house that I was getting a lift with to the venue. After two hours of talking and messing around we finally left to the venue which was 170km’s away. The drive was very chilled and was not as far as I expected, but I was with a cool crew and you know time fly’s when you’re having fun 😉
We arrived at the venue around about 8pm. Amazing venue I tell you. Huge, beautiful and so much space I thought I was overweight! We parked the car about 40 metres from the dance floor, jumped out of the car, kicked my shoes off and was ready to rock n roll. Went straight to the dance floor. The DJ that was playing was a guy called (Stuart). He plays a harder style, at around 10pm it started to rain but didn’t go on for too long. It took me till about 12pm to get into the vibe, but I knew it was going to get messy around that time because it was BIORYTHYM, into RUBIX CUBE, into the first international (ELECTRYPNOSE). The International played an unbelievable set. Proper night time sounds. After him, it just kept on going and going…and going!
I was extremely excited to see what the venue looked like in the day time; finally the lights were turned on and they had the perfect Dj playing (PHYX) into (ARTIFAKT). Music was thumping and people were getting ready for the day. Walking back from the dance floor to my car, to go get my shades and some sunscreen, I was blown away even more by the beauty of the venue and how clean it was. Toilets were up to standards and food stalls were placed perfectly. Securities were super friendly as usual, pity I didn’t have any Bavaria non-alc’s to offer them as usual 😉
Finished up at the car and headed back to the dance floor. I had the pleasure of arriving back at the dance floor to see the second International (ABSOLUM). The dance floor was filling up and the colours were getting brighter. It got hot, so I decided to go check out the swimming area, which was located at the back of the venue. A short walk through some trees to a small dam. Nice area, after a short dip, it was back to the dance floor. Ended up just chilling on the dance floor till the music ended. After that, it was a long drive home and good food. Over all it was worth the drive and the money spent. I would recommend it to anyone .
