I got sent 2 new peak caps the other day and I must be honest, I am very picky when it comes to caps. These days they all have these kak, long, straight peaks… No, I am not Dizzy Rascal and I don’t wear bright lumo caps with a peak longer than Jack Parow’s… They actually came at a great time too as my hair is a bit out of hand at the moment. I emailed Don the owner of this rad new brand to get a better idea about some of his other stock. The thing I love most about these new caps are the fit and the shape, and, the fact that the peak is pretty short so doesn’t make me look like a tool at Arcade for the first time…
Above: This is one of the caps that I got from Gnarley which I liked the most. I gave the spare to my bro, but what I really like other than the shape and fit is the fact that it has 2012 within the logo too… Gives it a kind of Limited Edition feel!
Come check out the Gnarley tent at Ultimate X on Saturday at the V&A Waterfront, Gateway Canal. If you don’t by now know what the is then check out their website for details. You want to be there, it is basically the biggest Extreme Sports Event in Cape Town, if not South Africa. It can best be described as a smaller version of the X Games overseas! Check out my post on the event by clicking [here] if you are keen to read and see more…
