I felt like trying something new and different to what I am used to for dinner the other night. So I went to the place I usually go for advice about this kind of stuff (Facebook & Twitter). There were quite a few awesome recommendations but as soon as I see a restaurant tagged in a Tweet and they are running a special, I am pretty much sold. Capetonians hate paying full price for anything and with the quality of the food I had at Sinns, I will most definitely be back there this Monday!
So the special is basically like this: you can choose any main meal on their menu between 18h30 – 21h30 on a Monday evening and you only pay half the price. Their pricing isn’t too bad, but when I saw what the dishes looked like that were coming out the kitchen, I started drooling already. This isn’t a paid review and I didn’t even get the special free. It was genuinely that good! I went for the sirloin steak, with rotie and creamy mushroom sauce. What was even better, was the fact that it came with your choice of sauce, included in the price!

You need to make a booking in order to qualify for the special, as they tend to get quite busy. You can phone them on + 27 21 4650967. You can also check out their cocktail list, they have some rad ones. There is also a separate area called the S Bar if you are just keen for a few drinks with some mates! Not to mention their dessert list, I’m sure the image below gives you an idea of what that is like…
