Checkers isn’t usually your first stop when you want to grab some good quality coffee. Well that has all just changed after they launched their new Coffee Collection! I got sent a bag of their new Foreign Ground brand and I am very impressed with the idea behind the brand, the taste and the packaging. I tried the single origin from El Salvador and it was damn tasty!
Checkers have basically gone to the World’s top 10 coffee growing countries and brought back some of the finest Single Origin Coffee as part of their new Foreign Ground offering! The Foreign Ground range features single origins from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Malawi, Peru and Rwanda, whereas the Home Brew range puts some of our local favourites, with the likes of Deluxe Coffeeworks and Tribe, on the shelves. I dig the packaging of the Home Brew range too, definitely going to go pick some up when my El Salvador single origin is finished!

I have seen that they are very active lately on social mediums so they should reply to any queries you have! A Foreign Ground single origin will set you back R49.99 and one of the Home Brew’s R69.99. Not too bad at all with the pricing strategy either!
